A Legacy of Presence and Growth

Bonfiglioli's journey in India began in 1999 with the establishment of its first manufacturing plant in Chennai (Thirumudivakkam). Over the years, Bonfiglioli has steadily expanded its operations and combines its strong local manufacturing with global R&D and engineering expertise.

Key milestones in its Indian presence include:

  • 1999: Inauguration of the Chennai plant. 
  • Early 2000s: Continuous growth and expansion.
  • 2016-2018: Significant investment in expanding existing facilities in Chennai (Thirumudivakkam) and establishing a new facility in Pune.

This continuous investment underscores Bonfiglioli's alignment with the "Make in India" initiative.

Extensive Manufacturing Footprint

Bonfiglioli India boasts a comprehensive manufacturing and assembly footprint designed to serve both domestic and international markets.

Chennai (Thirumudivakkam): This original and expanded facility is a highly integrated plant primarily for wind turbines, and industrial processes. It also houses an R&D Centre. It has been operational since 1999, and is spread across 11.6 acres. The power requirements of the facility are met through the state grid and DG power sets. It has certifications including ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environment Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety.

Pune (Talegaon): Our facility in Pune was initially located at Chakkan and has been operational since 2017. In 2023, the facility was relocated to Talegaon and is spread across 10.50 acres. The power requirements of the facility are met through the state grid and DG power sets. It has certifications including ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environment Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety)

Bonfiglioli India has established a strong and widespread sales network to efficiently serve customers across the nation. With 13 sales offices pan-India, we ensure quick response times, and direct support.

Our regional presence enables us to better understand local market needs and deliver solutions that are both effective and timely. Each office is staffed with experienced staff who are committed to providing customer service, technical assistance, and after-sales support.

Service Network

We have a deep service network. We provide after-sales services to our customers through two dedicated channels: (a) team of in-house service engineers stationed at our manufacturing locations in Thirumudivakkam (Tamil Nadu) and Talegaon (Maharashtra) and our 13 sales offices across India; and (b) 13 third-party authorised service facilities. We strive to respond to complaints within the next working day,
