Chennai (Thirumudivakkam): This original and expanded facility is a highly integrated plant focusing on gearboxes and gearmotors primarily for mobile machinery, wind turbines, and industrial processes. It also houses a crucial R&D Centre dedicated to developing tailor-made products for the Indian market.

Pune (Talegaon): This assembly plant caters to a wide range of industries, including food, packaging, cement, steel, pharmaceutical, textile, material handling, sugar, power generation, paper, and water treatment. It significantly boosts production capacity for light and medium-duty gearboxes.

These facilities, combined with a robust after-sales and sales network across India, enable Bonfiglioli to provide localized support and solutions, drastically reducing lead times for customers.
 

 Global Technical Centre

In the new era of growth, Bonfiglioli group continues its commitment to innovation, excellence & sustainability and with immense gratitude, we inaugurated our innovation hub at Chennai, “ Global Technical Centre”.

A state-of-the-art facility will house over 180 engineers with diverse expertise. The center was established to create breakthrough solutions by integrating the most advanced mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic technologies. It features dedicated testing laboratories to perform accelerated tests that simulate real working conditions, ensuring the highest standards of reliability. As the epicenter of groundbreaking advancements, the centre will drive the future of cutting-edge software, advanced electronics, digital innovations, and IoT technologies. This hub will not only enhance Bonfiglioli’s technological capabilities but also solidify its position as a market leader in the industry. A dedicated team will focus on digital technologies, working closely with our R&D and manufacturing plants to enhance production efficiency, by leveraging advanced software solutions, including MES and cybersecurity. This team will provide vital support to all our global manufacturing plants, establishing this center as a true Technology Hub.

The centre will work closely with our 20 manufacturing plants and over 80 branches worldwide. They will collaborate with other R&D centers and, most importantly, with customers in India and across the globe.


This centre is designed to encourage interaction and creativity. It features collaborative workspaces, a well-stocked library, state-of-the-art conference halls equipped with the latest acoustics and interactive displays and breakout spaces.
